Jeff Sessions Shuts Down NBC’s Attempt to Associate Trump with Neo-Nazis

Attorney General Jeff Sessions defied the establishment media’s attempt to smear President Donald Trump using an article on the Daily Stormer neo-Nazi website. During an interview with Sessions, Craig Melvin, host of NBC’s Today, read verbatim from a Daily Stormer article praising Trump for not condemning them by name during his statement on Saturday about the violent events in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“Isn’t that proof that the president didn’t stand up sufficiently to white supremacy on Saturday?” Melvin asked.

“They are simply attempting to legitimate themselves in any way possible,” Sessions replied. “They are about to find out that we’re coming after them for any violations of the law.”

Trump said his administration condemned “in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides,” setting off critics who thought he should have condemned neo-nazis by name.

“It has no place in America,” Trump said, referring to the “hatred” and “bigotry” displayed in Charlottesville, calling for a restoration of law and order.

Thank You President Trump for proving my point on this matter years ago:

Sessions nailed it: You get them for what they do, not for what they say or believe. The latter two are simply exercising your freedom in the US. A president should not condemn it. It is not his job and would do a world of harm if he did.

Great statement of principle. Now let’s find out who really started the violence at Charlottesville and whose civil rights were violated.

Yup. Such a double standard. No matter how many times a conservative disavows these groups, its just not enough. Meanwhile, they never once ask liberals to disavow the actions of their fringe. Their problem is most people are wise to these tactics by now.

They did the same thing to the VP this morning, trying to get him to say blm. I guess they want to see more race riots.

“in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides,”

phhhttt....

Why didn’t he condemn ANTIFA, BLM, KKK, NAZI....?

He condemned them all, ALL, that’s why. Now set about determining the criminals.

The Press is soooo transparent.

The MSM is so intent on putting the spotlight on the any racial misbehavior by whites but will completely ignore everyone else.

All participants at C’ville need to be investigated, not just those on the right. The decisions and statements by local and state government officials also need to be evaluated.

His critics see only one thing ... the white supremacists ... while ignoring the 800 pound gorilla that Trump saw ... that being antifa goons. They far outnumbered the supremacists and they love violence and throwing objects at those they disagree with.

It was stunning to me to hear an NYC radio host today calling for the end to the First Amendment.

And this guy meant it, it didn't sound like hyperbole to me.

He claims "these people" have no right to free speech (lumping together as "these people", presumably, anyone who wants to see Civil War history and monuments preserved).

Yep - and Trump refused to jump the shark which pissed the MSM off. By stating the Truth that there are bad actors ("actors" being the key word) across the board and those are the ones that need to be targeted, he insinuated that the bad actors in anti-fa and BLM are also subject to actions against them by the LAW, he told them that their pet anarchists/terrorists will not remain immune.

Main “witness” is Brennan Gilmore. (He’s all over the news today also. Lead column in Politico.)

CIA asset with the State Department during the KONY psyops who just happens to have worked with/for Tom Perillo who received $300,000 from Soros.

He’s there on the corner with his video rolling, captures “select” parts of the scene, including the car, but pans away at the last moment.

Then, within just a few more minutes, (before he tweets his video and goes viral), he’s interviewed as a “man on the street” with a major media outlet and states (while the body is still on the street and he supposedly has no idea what happened,) that THIS IS DOMESTIC TERRORISM.

He follows all the canned talking points that McAuliffe will parrot just an hour or so later.

The most important propaganda ploy being pushed right now is to tie classic liberalism, constitutionalism, rooted in a Judeo-Christian world view, to race. Do this and you defeat it without having to confront it philosophically or morally. Do this and you drive a wedge between “western civ” and DNC’s client groups, making debate impossible, and rendering impossible any kind of national unity based on shared principles. Everything gets reduced to ethnic tribalism.

And there are always going to be people who will take the bait, who don’t realize how they are being set up. They can’t win philosophically so they make it tribal.

I’m glad that President Trump has AG Sessions in place. When something such as this happens, AG Sessions studied, careful, by-the-book approach might be the only thing that keeps the administration from making the mistakes so many of “our” pols are making (and this includes Ivanka), of not waiting for the facts before laying blame.

If POTUS had condemned neo-Nazis or “white supremacists” by name, the MSM would have thrashed him for not making a long speech condemning slavery and the Confederacy. It does not matter what the POTUS says, as the MSM will always plan to call him out on it, in a negative way, and then use that theme for as long as they can draw viewers with it.

The same critics that thought Obama “should have condemned” Islamic Terrorists by name?
