I don't really put much stock on them. They are all in ‘covering my legacy mode.’ They let this happen and do not want to see Trump proving them wrong. They would rather surrender to N. Korea.

It imagine the gummint has already resolved this “peacefully”. They have already accepted a Nuclear North Korea. It may take them a year or two to publicly acknowledge it.
