Just like “managing $20 trillion in debt” I suspect someday the price will have to be paid but no one cares today.

The debt is a ticking time bomb. As a taxpayer, your share of the debt is $165,000. But wait, there’s more....
Your share of the unfunded liabilities is a whopping $889,000.
Add the two together and EACH TAXPAYER is on the hook for over $1 million!
Back to your point, we are being deceived on a massive and dangerous scale but no one seems to care. At some point in the not too distant future, they will however. But it will be too late.
I will allow that our government is pretty good at deceiving us. Its the one thing they do well.
