LeBron James took to Twitter Saturday evening to express his sadness and anger over the events that took place earlier in the day in Charlottesville, Va., as well as criticize President Donald Trump for his poor leadership.
"It's sad what's going on in Charlottesville," LeBron tweeted. "Is this the direction our country is heading? Make America Great Again huh?! He said that."
One 32-year-old woman died and at least 19 more were injured after a car targeted and barreled into a crowd of protesters opposing a racist rally led by white supremacists in Charlottesville on Saturday.

Can’t we all agree that violence is triggered when counter protesters show up to what was supposed to have been a peaceful protest march?
It seems as if the liberals and the media are blaming everything on the neo-Nazis and “White nationalists”. Is White Nationalist a new made-up term, sort of how the liberals made up “white Hispanic” so they could label George Zimmerman with a pejorative term?
Everything was overshadowed by the car crash. But I understand that there was violence going on, and that leftist counter protesters were not shy about throwing punches themselves. It’s a false narrative to say that the liberals were simon pure here, and that the only violence was committed by the so called “alt right”. I see the liberals and media have revived that term.
