According to The Nation, forensic experts and four former NSA employees claim to have new evidence that the Democratic National Committee hack happened locally with a memory key or other portable storage device.
The experts speaking to The Nation argue the files were too large to have been transmitted over the internet, therefore they must have happened on site, by someone within the DNC.
'The volume of the supposedly hacked material and what is called the transfer rate is the time a remote hack would require. The metadata established several facts in this regard with granular precision: On the evening of July 5, 2016, 1,976 megabytes of data were downloaded from the DNC’s server. The operation took 87 seconds. This yields a transfer rate of 22.7 megabytes per second.'
The experts, as The Nation says, prove that 'no Internet service provider, such as a hacker would have had to use in mid-2016, was capable of downloading data at this speed'.
From the very first day, for damage control, instead of admitting the emails were very damaging, the DNC pushed the "Russian" narrative. In reality, someone shoved a memory stick into a DNC computer onsite, and took the data in a few seconds. Duh. Russians.
Hum, Director Comey said Crowdstrike’s analysis was beyond reproach? Could he have been fibbing?
Now that makes sense. It might also explain why there seems to be files here and files there and files everywhere.

I would add one observation. Once you get to the point of admitting it was a non-hack, and the guy had to be standing there at a terminal with his thumb-drive plugged in....he had to log in using some kind of administrative log-in/password. Normally, there would be log files existing for evidence...to point toward who this guy was.
So the question would be...who was the chief administrator of the DNC server...above Rich. I’m guessing it’s no more than two or three people with those privileges...leaving an awful short list of suspects. For some reason, no one wants to move onto the logical next step.
This is hugh and series. We can’t let the dinosaur media sweep this under the rug.

BTW, this is a tacit admission that any breach had to have actually been a leak, not a hack.
I had seen others discuss this issue but I had never seen the bases for their figures. In all likelihood, that means Seth Rich was probably the source. That means MANY in the DNC were probably aware of the hit.
Now I am patiently waiting for the rest of the story, i.e. proof in a court of law after arrests are made. I can only hope at this point that President Trump makes something happen.
