Aren't medical conditions that are restrictive for full service reasons to be rejected from military service? What sane parents would allow their children to join the Navy if they could be stuck in close quarters with people so unstable that they can't accept their God-given sexual identity?

Attitudes such as this one from the Navy Secretary make one wonder if the military can ever get back on track. An environment in which patriotic US citizens with strong values won't serve is not a plan for success.

If young men and women that have attention deficit were not allowed to serve if they had to take retillin then transsexuals who take hormones should not be allowed to serve for the same reason.
