What do we have to lose?

If the Chinese start taking out US cities, they’ll take out all the Democrats.

Too much telegraphing of the moves by NK. Most likely any strike will come without warning against Alaska or California.
What if an asteroid suddenly blew up over the USA or it’s territories now. Goodbye NK!

I think most of this is nothing but Kabuki Theater.

“Let’s you and him fight!”

Amazing how often, and in how many varied situations, that that is the strategy.

That’s what Stalin tried to do when he signed the Non-Aggression Pact with Hitler.

It backfired when France lost so quickly.

Looks like China’s position is evolving!

I wonder who we have to thank for that?

See my tagline...

“...China will stay neutral.”

Everything else in the Global Times article is boilerplate.

This is the only thing new, and it’s a game changer.

Yeah, it doesn’t always work- I don’t think China is fooling anyone here. Kim knows what China is doing as well as Trump does.

But it’s an effective stratagem through history- for everywhere from a boardroom to a legislature to an elementary school playground.

Then why are you buying them “Made in China”?

I know you weren't looking for an answer, but here it is anyway.

Those products are no longer made in the US.

It’s no more “a game changer” than was Pontius Pilate washing his hands.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_War

“Korea was ruled by Imperial Japan from 1910 until the closing days of World War II. In August 1945, the Soviet Union declared war on Imperial Japan, as a result of an agreement with the United States, and liberated Korea north of the 38th parallel. U.S. forces subsequently moved into the south. By 1948, as a product of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States, Korea was split into two regions, with separate governments. Both claimed to be the legitimate government of all of Korea, and neither accepted the border as permanent.”

When Pontius Pilate washed his hands, he had no idea that he was unleashing the Son Of God on the world, and that the followers of Jesus would overtake his sinful world.

It’s often little things that cause big history....

Those products NEED to be made in America again.

Both of our political parties, have been sold out to globalism for more than the entire last generation. Everyone.

It is time to rebuild American industry.

Enough globalism. Bring back production to America.

[They have no right for neutrality since they’ve been feeding the monster for many years.]

I would bet the miniaturization tech came straight from them.

I can’t see China launching nukes at the US or South Korea in response to a US attempt to neutralise Kim young one. They can however, attempt to ‘stop’ the US through financial means.

Japan and China each hold just over $1 trillion of US debt. What happens if, as these debts mature, China demands payment of the maturing paper? To get buyers of that debt, will require a bigger discount, meaning additional debt issued to cover the gap. This will eventually flow through as higher interest rates for everyone, slowing the economy.

China could unilaterally curtail trade with the US. They are your largest trading partner. If that happened, Wallyworld would be out of stock in less than one week. There are so many things that we in the West, no longer produce, instead we depend on China and other 3rd world countries. A full scale cutting of trade by China, would be disastrous. China would be hurt be a cessation of trade, but as a primarily ‘control’ economy, they would force their people to handle the ‘bad’ times.

As God is in charge, I’ll leave it up to Him to guide and protect His people, regardless of what happens.

Another great accomplishment of William B.J. Clinton:

U.S. agrees to sell supercomputer to China, officials say Administration aims to embrace, not isolate, Beijing

“China could unilaterally curtail trade with the US. “

Given the shaky state of the Chinese economy, I doubt that they would curtail trade. From what I understand, they need us a whole lot more than we need them. That’s what all the sanctions talk is about. Using trade sanctions to force China to rein in Fat Boy.
