Trump On North Korea: ‘Things Will Happen To Them They Never Thought Possible’

President Trump issued a new warning to North Korea Thursday, upping the ante after the president’s “fire and fury” statement Tuesday.

Trump suggested Thursday that his prior statements on North Korea, which received a great deal of criticism from some observers, were “not tough enough.”

“[Kim Jong Un] has been pushing the world around for a long time,” the president told reporters Thursday.

“I will tell you this, if North Korea does anything in terms of even thinking about attack of anybody that we love or we represent or our allies or us, they can be very, very nervous,” he explained. “They should be very nervous. Things will happen to them like they never thought possible.”

“North Korea better get its act together or they’ll be in trouble like few nations have ever been in trouble in this world,” Trump added.

In response to questions concerning the possibility of a preemptive strike on North Korea, he simply said, “We’ll see what happens.”

Trump paradox:

He’s outspoken, yet he believes in unpredictability.

Were I Trump and really, REALLY serious about teaching NK a lesson, I would suddenly dawn highly concilliatory language...

AND *THEN* ATTACK THEM.

John Bolton tonight on Hannity called for a decisive preemptive strike notwithstanding the threat of the Chinese official communist news paper that they would enter on the side of the NORKS. This is leadership in John Bolton I had feared just did not exist. He is one of the foremost policy thinkers in America. This thing is about to happen real bad on the NORKS. Stop all the posturing and let us proceed.QUICKLY!!

anybody else notice, that the liberals and the media, are critical of Trump’s statements over this North Korean situation? They are not critical of what the Fat Boy is doing to enflame the situation.

Rather than being concerned about the Fat Boy, the mad man that he may well be, and his threats to world peace, the liberals and media behave as if Trump is the threat to world peace.

Rather than criticize Fat Boy and his threats to the world, they instead criticize Trump for his statements about what may happen.

I don’t get it.

“Politics STOPS at the water’s edge..!!!!”

Dems scream that to the high heavens when they need US to shuttup in the face of some foreign threat AND WE DO.

I cannot recall another time in US history when we were perched on the war brink, all the while the other side openly calling for the removal of a sitting US Prez for totally unrelated reasons.

Can anyone else..??

He’s trying to provoke Kim into an attack or an attempted attack. If he does, N Korea becomes the world’s largest parking lot faster than you can run out and grab a cup of coffee.

absolutely ground war— how the hell do you propose to occupy and liberate those starving people in the North? This is going to test this country like never before but we will do just fine. But the snowflakes are in for quite a day. I look forward to their screams of anguish and fear.

Even more bad news for Fatboy Kim, China just released a statement saying that they would remain neutral in the event of a military conflict between the US and NK.q

China ain’t jumpin nowhere. We would annihilate them. We have them surrounded in Nukes. BIG NUKES. And all those bonds they “own” go to used toilet paper. To hell with China. Time to put up or shut up like quivering ganglia cowards. Time is right now.North Korea “threatened” us and we had a red line against that.

They are getting anti American to an insane degree.

If there is any conflict for real, the media / Dems will get their kishkas in a twist because they are SUPPOSED TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS so how can they be anti CinC at that point??

It’s fairly amazing to me that at FR we have people complacent about the possibility of US troops getting involved in a land war in Asia.

I don’t care HOW much a jingoist a person might be:

THAT is...amazing.

That’s an EXTREMELY expensive proposal and the whole region is world famous for contempt for death since time immemorial.

Won’t be that kind of war. And we won’t be the ones doing occupation duty.

This will be an Air Force and Navy extravaganza.

And if some rumors are true, a special guest appearance by the Air Force Space Command and the Rods From God.

My gut tells me right now we are working out the details with the Chinese.

They have plenty of agents in place in North Korea to take control once things start.

Not a historian so I’m not sure. Certainly not any recent time.

The Dems and media have taken this to such an extreme they basically are supporting one of the original Axes of Evil. How are they going to “support the troops” if there is conflict? They are twisting themselves into pretzels of anti-American hate.
