He started at KFBK in Sacto, near the racetrack and the UFO dome theaters.

I’d rollerskate around in the parking lot behind the station, it was right next to where they would later open a SleepTrain branch.

I peaked over the fence and saw Rush arrive to work a couple times, before he was syndicated.

Rush persevered through a bunch of hard stuff, back then.

Everyone covers his recent success (which he absolutely deserves ALL of) but I remember when he first started out, when the jealous local people were capping on him cuz he was fat and getting successful when they were not.

I love Rush.

Loved that! When I got my first, ‘Field Computer’ with the U.S. Army in the early 80’s, it was the size of a VW Big, LOL!

I sure hope Rush is watching Mark Steyn hosting Tucker’s show tonight.

He has been on fire. So much fun watching him make fools of these leftard guests.
