Yes, I have been sobered up here today, on this thread. We can not whole sale be buying into all things, all the time, by all of our allied websites.

Sundance is such a thinker, seems intuitive in many cases, and he poses questions worth thinking about. He made me wonder about who was behind pushing McMaster out, and it seemed to me that it was other conservative media, so yeah, I’ve been a little conflicted. The Establishment, of course, loves McMasters. But, Trump seems to be satisfied with him as well.

Brietbart is against McMasters, so for me, it was a quiz between the two, Sundance and Breitbart. I thought the White House should try to clear it up.

Dynoman put me on to Wictor. I had never heard of him, nor of him, here on Free Republic. I was impressed with knowledge, over the constant noise and mis-direction of opinion pieces.

Thanks, Jeremiah.

I realized a while ago - that basically ALL news and op-ed stuff really is ill-informed and/or ill-intentioned.

So at this point all I pay any heed to is factual news such as “The Senate confirmed X number of federal judges” or “Kelly leaves DHS to become (whatever it was he became)”.

And for anything else I read LS’s comments and his twitter page and Thomas Wictor’s. Wictor is an amazingly knowledgeable and rational thinker.

Of course I do read some other stuff but people just run with gut feelings/unnamed sources/spinning off of totally fake news/etcetc so much I felt as though I was going headfirst into a nervous breakdown.

Crazy times....

Will read later. Trump will get them, I’m sure.

The President is aware of all these factors. He's obviously far more cognizant of what's going on than the Nervous Nellies will ever give him credit for.

There simply aren't enough pro-Trump people to fill every position in government. The President knew this at the outset. People will be phased out, and people will be phased in as part of an ongoing process.

It's ludicrous to think that the President isn't aware of McMaster's globalist bias. The President, at this moment, obviously wants McMaster there despite those tendencies. It is the job of these employees to implement the President's agenda, not the other way around, and anyone who forgets that fact will quickly find themselves looking for a new job.

It borders on amusing to see the endless second-guessing and hand-wringing that occurs around here. Despite two solid years worth of evidence, there are still many Doubting Thomases who refuse to believe the evidence of their own eyes, and that evidence is that this President was and is "on top of things". If that weren't so, he wouldn't even be the President right now.

Even more importantly, everyone needs to remember that Providence has been involved in everything that has occurred in this man's life in the past couple of years. There's simply no way that even the great Trump could have gotten this far without God's blessing.

So if people don't trust the President's instincts and judgement, they should at least have faith in God's.

So chillax, everyone. Or don't. But presuming that Donald J. Trump isn't extremely aware of the overall state of things—both in general and in specific—is simply comical...

There are a lot of people who think we are “controlled by a Jewish cabal”...these are the “isolationists” who screamed when Trump hit Syria with the cruise missiles (which appears to have worked really well).

Please, not the “controlled by a Jewish cabal” crowd! How tidy. How very cut-and-dried—and overtly anti-Semitic. Here's hoping those "isolationist" voices are generally ignored, in lieu of more sober-minded "isolationists" who aren't so eager to view things through such a classically bigoted prism...

They are quite strong. Have to block a number on Twitter.

Nut you can’t pretend they aren’t out there and every anti-Trump post by Kristol, Podhoretz, Boot only reinforces them.
