Pragmatic? Isn’t that just another word for “surrender on the installment plan”?
There is no way to be “pragmatic” about dealing with a person with a definite psychotic break. If you cannot negotiate with a person, with a concession given for a benefit won, then perhaps there is no way to come to a meeting of the minds.
