Developer Stan Pate says he spent $100,000 in Facebook ads branding Strange's appointment as part of a corrupt bargain with former Gov. Robert Bentley, and says he's concerned about the potential impact of Trump's tweeted endorsement.

At this point, Mo would require 64 dimensional chess by Trump to have a chance of winning. I’m not even sure Trump could have played at that level when he was in fifties and prime.

By supporting Mr. Strange, Trump abandoned many of his supporters.

Bad move. Bigly.

Mo is locked into a losing position...if lucky, he might get around 20-percent of the state vote in the primary. I do agree....of the three, he is probably more qualified and less tied to Bentley. If he loses in this episode...I think he will run for governor, and just wait to replace Shelby at some point.

I agree - this is one dumb move by Trump! Why in the hell would he support another RINO when all they're good for is stabbing him in the back?

And now he's ticked off the Women for Trump crowd, not to mentions thousands of supporters (me included)!:

Women for Trump want him to rescind his endorsement of Strange
