It appears that the mind of David Brooks has been infected with the image of Donald Trump and he needs to take extreme measures to quit thinking about him. Perhaps Brooks could hang a pair of Barack Obama's pants in front of him and stare at its perfect crease for hours on end to take his mind off the Trump demon that has infected him. That's how I feel too. I never disliked Donald Trump. Over the years I found him sometimes amusing, sometimes a little cringey, often very funny... then I found him surprising and entertaining... then I found him admirable... now I find him amazing, and if I had only one wish, it would be that he would be safe and healthy and in the Oval office for the next 7.5 years. When I see that rather wicked smile of his, I get happy inside.
This reminded me that Harvard noted that the majority of its incoming class of freshmen are not white. So, in a few years, Harvard graduates should be thought of as having “matriculated from a primarily colored university”.
