Internet hoax drives Haitian asylum seekers over US border to Canada

It started with a WhatsApp message that read like an answer to the prayers of thousands of immigrants fearing deportation by President Trump.

Canada wanted them, it promised — a revelation that filled Haitians across the United States with hope and helped to encourage an exodus to the north.

There was just one problem: the information was false.

The U.S. has the most liberal -- not restrictive -- immigration policies of any country in the world. High time other countries, who are so often critical of us, get called to account!

Two come to my mind almost immediately:

1. For the Muzzies: “There are an additional 25 virgins available to each or you at death if you migrate to Canada.

2. For the Mexicans: Canada’s Home Depots have “heated waiting rooms” for day laborers, and the minimum wage for that kind of work is $50 Canadian per hour. Plus if anyone calls you an “effing beaner,” the Canadian “Human Rights” Commission has stiff fines for the “violator” with 50% of the fine going to you.

And who knows, you may run into Alec Baldwin, Madonna, or some other Hollywood trash who’s moved up there to be with you.

What I wonder about is why Canada has an issue with the Haitians going there - after all, Canada did nothing for 70 years but call us racists for our issues with minorities.
