Senate hasn’t had such a strong pro-GOP bias since the ratification of direct Senate elections in 1913.

You would never know that based on results.

OK. Let’s assume that the 17th amendment had never passed. Since there are 34 states with republican Governors, (I may be wrong on that number), and the majority of those states are run by Rep’s. Using that logic it would be safe to say that the Rep’s would control around 68 senate seats after a six year span. Maybe we should repeal the 17th?
