Is anyone in this thread at all interested in hearing the other side of the story before rushing to judgment? Did the cop really say to himself, “I feel like shooting a dog today”?

Dog at own home inside fenced in yard is shot by cop who decided to go to the back of the house instead of the front door like a human being.
No body cam footage and mealy mouthed “sorry” from the spokeshead.
Why is there no bodycam footage?

I am a huge German Shepherd fan, BTW. But then, maybe that makes me biased for cops....
Why yes, but the other side is not talking. Maybe we should all be silent until the government has spoken. Would that make you happy?
The cop certainly did not think that but he surely did react to the opportunity as it presented itself.
