actually no...he fought bitterly; for months he was flayed by televised kangaroo courts...it was only after his closest supporters in Congress urged him to leave, did he do so...

I wish he would have fought. We might be spared this attempted coup by the left, if he would have stood his ground and not allowed them that victory. Unfortunately, his folding emboldened them, and the repercussions remain with us.
