WASHINGTON (CNN) - Democrats aren't the only people in Washington who have stood in the way of Donald Trump's agenda over his first six months in office. Even members of the Republican President's own party haven't been the easiest to work with...Here are the four tribes of Republicans who have stood up to Donald Trump...

They are not “standing up” to him, they are subverting the Will of the People.
Past time to take names.
Interesting that one group is claimed to be the anti tweet twits. Not much of a policy position.
Yeah. I was thinking last night about President Gerald Ford (no one voted for him) and Vice President Nelson Rockefeller (really: no one voted for him).
They both got into the Oval Office because that’s how the system worked. And no one really had a problem with it. The system worked. Here’s the President. Here’s the Vice President. Carry on.
But today? President Trump won the Electoral College handily. You can see a map of the counties in the US which voted for Trump as opposed to Hillary — it’s pretty stark and very Red. The People spoke, and the people wanted Donald Trump to be President. That’s how the system worked.
And yet, both the Democrats and the Republicans seem to be saying, “Naaaaaaaah, we’re taking him down. He’s not supposed to be president.”
I expect this country to explode if he gets removed. The system will have broken. There will be no social contract. There will be no country.
1. The libertarian leaners
2. The moderate wing
3. The bipartisan advocates
4. The Twitter opposition
All anyone needs to remember is the St. Simons Never Trump confab to fill the list.
Somebody has access to all the tail numbers of the 54 private jets that converged on this tiny airport.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder Larry Page, Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker, and Tesla Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk all attended. So did Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news by saying he cannot support Donald Trump.
What? William Kristol was not invited? That must have upset the leader of the Never-Trump pack. I guess he doesn't have a private jet to call his own.
CNN AntibTrimp bs . Trying to embellish the trumps opposition. Flake murlowski and McCain clearly hate the man. Mike Lee just came out in praise of trump
There are far more names than those listed in the article. 54 private jets and I contend the source of original funding to Fusion GPS was the leader of this thing, if not all of them.
I find it interesting that Cotton was there but maybe just because he was new and trying to find his legs by clinging to someone he thought he trusted.
Bullsh!t.
LOL! The small "l" libertarian crowd will be with President Trump 100%.
They know exactly what's up. Many of them helped to elect Donald Trump after they saw the likes of Gary Johnson and William Weld try to use the LPUSA to stop him. That fiasco opened a lot of eyes.
Anyone who wants to stand on the sideline in this battle? To Hell with them.
And anyone who thinks that libertarians won't be on the front lines fighting against this coup—when the time comes—is smoking crack.
Discounting libertarian conservatives is just another yuge miscalculation that the Swamp and the Left have made...
And discounting Constitutional conservatives is another yuge miscalculation that the Swamp and the Left have made.
Example - FR.
Fortunately for Trump, most of them don’t have any experience opposing the president (at lest in the 8 years before Trump). They could be more dangerous if they knew what they were doing. Though it may be different being in opposition to voters of their own party than Obama voters.
What their opposition really shows is that they have no ideas of their own. They have nothing to be FOR. If the party (and individuals and tribes) was FOR anything, they could do things like
* fix health care
* fix taxes
* fix immigration
* fix education
* pass a budget (other than a omnicrap ‘keep doing like last year’ budget I expect again)
There are thousands of incremental improvements they can make in these areas if they can’t agree on major fixes. So many opportunities to improve the country in so many ways. But it’s easier to break into tribes and be against the voters’ choice for president. A president who is almost guaranteed to sign any legislation in the list above.
If this approach works right for them, they’ll lose majorities in congress the next elections and they won’t be expected to accomplish anything. Then they can relax again and get back to enjoying the DC lifestyle they’ve worked so hard to “earn” - away from whatever “hellhole” the escaped by winning a federal election. As a majority party, the pressure from voters is almost as bad as the pressures voters face trying to make a living while multiple governments (city/state/feds) keep making that harder.
Lamar Alexander
Mr.”Lumber Jack” has long been on a number of lists.
Trump is fully showing just how out of control the Federal government has become.
Its become its own entity with its own inertia bought and paid for by moneyed special interests who work specifically against the American people.
Decades back, the left, and I include the GOPe and media in this description, urged everyone to “question authority” and “speak truth to power”.
Now they would gladly kill you for doing just that because they are running the show now.
The establishment hates Trump with a passion because he had the temerity to point them out and rally 60+ million people to his cause.
Trump supporters have to realize that they hate YOU. Trump is just a symbol for them.
The GOP was for the “big tent” until it elected Trump on them.
They are all whores working at the same brothel.
Trump needs to make a series of very specific speeches on each agenda item clearly illustrating what he wants to do and how he is being blocked by the establishment in Washington.
It has to be framed in such a way as to how the Congress and establishment is working against the American people.
I believe Trump will then gain traction with his agenda.
Enlist supporters to begin bombarding Congress with calls to MOVE on it.
