I worked at a bank in the mid 90’s - sexual harassment has just become a “thing” - all of the managers were getting seminars on what it meant, how we had to report it, etc. What happened was that management “weaponized” it to get rid of people they didn’t like and couldn’t get rid of with performance appraisals (i.e. good work was being done by these folks). The one I am MOST familiar with - he was walked down to personnel at the end of the day, told a charge of sexual harassment had been lodged against him - he could either walk out the door right then and keep his retirement or he could fight it and they’d make sure he was fired with nothing. He chose to leave - didn’t have the money to fight it legally & frankly, even if he won, that was not a place where he wanted to work any longer. Within two months, he was totally vindicated by other circumstances. I also know of several other similar instances that took place with one very high level VP ousted for political reasons (top dog wanted someone else in that position).
“Sexual harassment” is still being weaponized and just the slightest slip of the tongue can bring charges. If Bowling called this gal “Dr. McHottie” on the air, there will be film of it so that’s where the investigators can start. Unless they have the offending pictures somewhere, it’s “he said, she said” .... but “he” will lose because that’s how it goes these days.
Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications...”
Does not recall? That is bad enough, but “does not believe”?
What about: I absolutely did not do it?
Is that a picture of Caroline Hickman, the accuser of O’Reilly, Bolling, and Trump? If so, Tucker shouldn’t even have her near him.
As much as I love Eric Bolling, his lawyer’s statement leads me to think Eric had a weak moment along the way.
But things are not often as they seem, and this is my complaint, despite being female: I don’t automatically take the side of the female. Many women are simply diabolical and are NOT always professional and WILL use their sexuality to meet their goals. This could be an office affair (dumb idea) gone wrong; what if some broad sent him some pics of HERSELF and he reciprocated?
And don’t tell me that some “victim” was so triggered that she kept pics for years, only to spring them now. Please....
I was the victim of real sexual harassment in the workplace before such a term even existed. A boss told me that if I fooled around with him, I would get to keep the job I’d only had for just a couple of weeks. And it scared me, so I went into work the next day and reported it to HIS boss, to find out if this was true. I was just a kid and didn’t know any better. The VP of that hospital was never seen again; he was moved out immediately.
If you don’t report the “offense” at once, you are saving it for leverage later on. Much like how Anita Hill kept following Clarence Thomas from job to job.
Period. End of story.
Having used this same formula for getting rid of Ailes and O’Reilly, the Murdoch boys will soon have a network that is an imitation of CNN. They can split the ratings and both go down the drain with their Fake News.
The image caption says Heldman ...
Nice! I like that!
You can tell it’s Heldman by the sores on her face.
Well, well, well...
YES
Yeah I know. I tend to think he’s getting railroaded but what do I know. I don’t think the guy is any Carlos Danger type, and if he is getting railroaded, it could ruin his career, either way.
If I am going to send a picture of a penis to a woman, it sure ain’t gonna be MY penis. I’m going to the zoo.
