Bit the animals are smart enough to not look at the eclipse. FTR, once totality ensues, and until just before it ends, looking at the eclipse is about as dangerous as looking at the full moon.

I think our son will be in an airplane flying to an eclipse festival in Oregon. To perform. He’s sort of bummed out. But could be pretty cool up there.
