I have known a few native Hawaiian’s who lived and worked in Massachusetts.
We worked together in restaurant kitchens and I could never understand why they were in New England. They said they were not alone, that many other native Hawaiian’s could not afford to live in their own state.
Pretty sad.
They can’t afford it and on the islands they can afford there’s no work. We own property on the Big Island.
