Very true. It would take the entire community to band together to end it. Remember that scene from Spartacus? A Roman officer asked which prisoner was Spartacus. “I am Spartacus,” said one. Then another one said “I am Spartacus.” On and on it went.
You’d need one resident to say “I called the police”. Then another. Then another. That would take a ton of courage, perhaps more than can be asked of ordinary people.

A few weeks back I saw on one of the (local) Baltimore TV news shows a black mother was gunned down in front of her house by men wearing ski masks for being seen talking to the police.
A neighbor was interviewed but they hid his face so he would would not be next.
Also showed sneakers hanging from electric cables as a warning.
There are yuppie parts of Baltimore like South of the Inner Harbor that don't have regular murders but a number of these other areas are death zones.
Ok, you people there with illegal guns, who are on drugs and think the only way to solve disputes is with violence:
“Nobody Kill Anybody” this weekend, OK? Wait until Monday morning, so we can say that we had a weekend without deaths.

Oh, I agree. The fear is not misplaced. It’s very, very real.
It’s the loyalty that’s misplaced. Loyalty to the shooter instead of seeing that justice gets done. Or loyalty to the shooter (usually black) instead of the law (usually white).
I was recently in Baltimore for a few days on a business trip and I did not kill or even maim a single person. Do you think I should be awarded a medal for non-killing or is that just reserved to exceptional people who are residents?

Moving on to the far right, Dr. Spock is seen, detached and largely unaffected. Always the odd man out.
Is this just for Baltimore? Killing is ok outside the city limits?
Most of this is black on black murder, but the fake news media doesn’t want to talk about that. Actually, I think they don’t really care because they can’t raise a sanctimonious narrative about “Racist Whiteys are murderers.”
