Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are suggesting that the Trump White House might be behind the leak of the transcripts of President Trump’s conversations with the leaders of Mexico and Australia.
On today’s Morning Joe, Joe and Mika floated the notion that while the leaks might have been mildly embarrassing to the president, they were “really damaging to the press.” In support of their theory on who was behind the leaking, the pair pointed to the fact that when the Washington Post informed the White House that they had the transcripts, Trump administration officials did not ask the paper not to publish them.

Trump officials did not give approval to publish the transcripts. Isn’t this a crime on behalf of the WPO?
First time I’m aware of that Democrats AND Republicans are condemning the leaks. Everyone talks about Trump playing 3D chess so maybe they aren’t that far off?

Monday, there should be a search warrant served on the Washington Post for all documents on paper or digitally recorded relating to the source of the publication of the transcripts of national security importance.
All present must be removed and entry forbidden until such time as a thorough search is completed. The search may take days or weeks. The paper will be forbidden to use the facilities under lock down during that time. Publication may continue from disaster planned contingency facilities.
I guess Joe is entitled to his opinion.
Its a dirty war going on out there when the media is hostile to the Presidency of anyone. Nixon, Trump.
