I live in predominantly Hispanic city in Eastern Washington (70+%), and at one time was the PW Director. I know for a fact they have plenty of access to clean, fresh water and the sewer treatment plant is state of the art for normal residential waste.
However the city has a constant maintenance problem trying get all of the cooking grease out of the sewer system from them dumping it down their kitchen sinks. Once that stuff sits in the sewer pipes it can turn hard as rock and adhere to the pipe walls constricting the flow and causing back ups.
Additionally the stores cater to these folks and sell Hispanic brand cleaning products that contain high phosphates which American products don’t use anymore. The sewer treatment plant is now required to install phosphate removal and treatment processes! I told the regulators this and they needed to target these stores and products and they just looked at me and expect the city to cough up another few million for these upgrades.
I give no f***s for guilt shaming attemps from liberal socialists.
I worked in some hinterlands of Mexico long ago and traveled near the border in the mid 90s. My experience was that Mexicans in general have about zero regard for the environment. Even Mexican dumps are dumps, not "sanitary landfills." The paper mill I worked in in Durango, MX had about this number of mangy dogs roaming the outdoor cantina every day.
People who will not stay in their own country to make it better need not bring their incompetent worthless asses here!
