Since they're time travelers, why not pick up a few more heroes:

A nice Nazi from 1939.
A boisterous Bolshevik from 1917.
A kinky Khmer Rouge from 1975 Cambodia (Kampuchea).
A radical Red Army fanatic from 1949.

You get the idea. Feel free to suggest more fine samples from "misunderstood" historical movements.
