Such great advice on this thread. During my initial weight loss, I switched from sugar to Splenda in my coffee, thinking I was doing a good thing. Turns out that none of that sweetener stuff is very good for you. So I learned to drink my coffee black. Black coffee is an acquired taste but well worth the effort.
I suggest going cold turkey on this and not doing it gradual. Within a couple weeks, you will learn to like black coffee and a few weeks after that, you won't want to drink it any other way. Trust me!
two weeks eh, well, if I can quit pizza and beer cold turkey, I can live without my coffeemate for a couple of weeks.
