I used to dine in Leawood quite regularly.
The biggest risk you faced there was a drive-by snubbing.
I’m sure there are a lot of liberals, just like Overland Park.
So maybe Obamacare and Pelosi-lovers were the biggest risk.
[the operation would be a “significant media event.”]
Oh yeah, who could forget the “significant media event” staged by Janet Reno and Billy Jeff Clinton? That was sure a fun one to watch; for Nazis.
Federal ‘law’. Maybe I missed the part of the Constitution that gave any such authority to Fedzilla. Might be in there w/ the ‘gun control’ laws, right to abortion or maybe even the Commerce Clause.
Damn, I wish the Bill of Rights were easier to read/understand (that’s /s by the way)

Im thinking of my forested area. They just fly over looking down. That is legal as long as they obey FAA height restrictions.

Aside from height restrictions, there’s a CHASM of difference between ‘looking down’ (visually/naked eye) vs. ‘taking readings’ (say, thermally, that penetrate the abode in any way\form\fashion).
>The REAL problem is the law as it exists
Correct. You could have stopped there. Congress has/had NO authority, same as ‘gun-control’, hence, all such ‘law’ is null/void...if we were still a Republic.
As per your legalization, that I would leave up to the States.
SWAT is not military or militia. They are law enforcement officers with special training. As such, they should be limited to the same weapons that the majority of the civilian population within the county posses or could possess. And should be under the authority of the chief law enforcement officer and per Printz v. United States, that is most often, the Sheriff.
Further, the duties of the chief law enforcement officer are not specifcly enumerated in the Constitution and thus fall under the 10th Amendment i.e. left to the States.
Jordan, a 49-year-old college graduate, took the exam in 1996 and scored 33 points, the equivalent of an IQ of 125. But New London police interviewed only candidates who scored 20 to 27, on the theory that those who scored too high could get bored with police work and leave soon after undergoing costly training.
Most Cops Just Above Normal The average score nationally for police officers is 21 to 22, the equivalent of an IQ of 104, or just a little above average.
Jordan alleged his rejection from the police force was discrimination. He sued the city, saying his civil rights were violated because he was denied equal protection under the law.
But the U.S. District Court found that New London had shown a rational basis for the policy. In a ruling dated Aug. 23, the 2nd Circuit agreed. The court said the policy might be unwise but was a rational way to reduce job turnover.
One would think they would be rational enough to see the double standard with affirmative action, and the need for higher IQ's in the department.
