Research has discovered that large amounts of young people are developing an entitlement complex.
The psychological trend comes from the belief that you are superior to others and are more deserving of certain things.
This form of narcissism has some significant consequences such as disappointment and a tendency to lash out.
Psychology Today reports that some examples of entitlement range from the disregard of rules, freeloading, causing inconveniences and like to assume the role of leader when working in groups.
So called millennials, who were born roughly between 1988 and 1994, tend to have this characteristic as a 2016 study found.
The University of Hampshire found that youngsters who were studied on issues of entitlement scored 25 per cent higher than people aged 40 to 60 and 50 per cent higher than those over that age bracket.
Dr Joshua Grubbs, who conducted the research, which was published in the Psychological Bulletin is quoted by Spring as saying:
At extreme levels, entitlement is a toxic narcissistic trait, repeatedly exposing people to the risk of feeling frustrated, unhappy and disappointed with life.

Where is that FREEPER with the Captain Obvious picture?
I had this syndrome until 1988, when my father’s brothers put a hole in a wall with my head.
Then it went away :)
Just because a man feels he is a women, it does not make him a woman. Just because a person feels entitled, it does not make them entitled.
lashing out is right. I’ve seen some historic meltdowns of ones that don’t get their way. They become violent.
When “love and peace” collides with “self-esteem”, watch out! ;)
Of course they are..why wouldn't they be? Parents and the educational systems have centered everything around their children......we all saw it coming and certainly warned of this.
I saw this in my own family......just more of the liberal mindset hammering away at the family structure as it was intended to be to their ideal of the so called modern family.
I recall when I had young children and we went visiting for an evening with friends.....when it came bedtime we simply laid them on a bed til we were ready to go home. Not today....parents have to go home when it's the childs bedtime. They schedule their life around their children.
And that's just one example. We 'raised' children....to day's parents 'live for' their children..
I feel entitled - entitled to life, liberty and being left the eff alone. You can imagine how frustrated I am.
Now I know what I have! booty entitlement complex!
:-)
The beheadable millenials are dropping like flies from drug overdoses. Many of ‘em ain’t gonna make it past their 30s. Their lack of respect for their elders is a repeat of their smelly hippie heros of the sixties: a generation whose longevity is shrinking. (Oh by the way, the Fifth commandment specifically promises a short life to those who neglect to honor their elders. The short-lived hippies are a testament to this promise.) The beheadables are gonna top the smelly hippies in this department.
Short sell the beheadable millenials, just like we are shorting the stock that is emblamatic of their dying generation: SnapChat.

Actually, they should not even be entitled to be called ‘millennials’ if they were born before the new millennium even started.
They’re called “Democrats, snowflakes, cupcakes, reparationists, irredentists, communists, and stupids”.
Sad thing is, most disciples of the cult of liberalism will never, ever have the ability to realize the massive mistakes they’ve made with thier social engineering experiments. They will simply double down and lie harder.
I know this is true when I see them in the grocery stores with thier entitled baby savages (the ones who were allowed to be born) filling bacteria-infested cloth bags with “organic” whatsits and strange little liberal approved “foods”. It takes them 10 minutes to get through checkout. And I have 10 minutes to think about how stupid this country has become.
Back in the day these were rightly described as ‘spoiled brats’.
Well hey, at least they have self esteem, right?
I love how the definition of a Millennial changes with every study. I’ve seen as early a start date as 1978, but I think this is the latest I’ve seen at 1988.
