Each of the 591,548 voters affected by the move had already been on the state’s “inactive” registration list. That means they had not voted, updated their voter registration information, filed a change of name or address, signed a petition or responded to attempts to confirm their last known address for at least the past three years.

According to this, none. Fraudulent active accounts will have to be handled separately.

The democrats are scared out of their wits by all this. They won’t show it - instead they are acting out with all their moxie - but inwardly they are literally shaking in their boots.

They know they know longer can expect the close elections, or polling places being kept open late so they can stuff a few ballot boxes.

Their GOOSE is COOKED!!!

So "inactive" people can still vote. You are only denied the vote when you are cut from the rolls.

I never said otherwise.

It is a provisional ballot, correct? and it will NOT be counted unless the vote is close. How will it be close when active voters voting illegally are no longer present?

What this doesn't tell you is how many of those 591,548 people were illegally registered, or how many illegally registered people are active voters. Of course, liberals will see it as evidence that there is NO illegal voting.

There needs to be a national voter ID card ironclad to show citizenship and identity and renewed every election cycle. Furthermore, there has to be a standard election day for all primaries with no early voting. Lastly,I am sick and tired of the absentee vote system especially since military votes are usually trashed. I hear we are still looking for those from Bush V Gore.

It’s not the inactive ones that are the problem.
It’s the ones that are TOO active, voting early & often.

There is going to be a very visible difference in the numbers when this next election roles around. I hope some one is keeping track.

From the 591k....I would also make a bet that at least 10,000 passed on within the last three years, and people screwed up not removing as they were supposed to. Some are likely military personnel who transferred to another state, and signed up there to vote.

“is classic voter suppression.”

Sort of. It’s supression only if the voter is too stupid to vote or unable to re-register.

Georgia canceled the registration of more than a half-million voters over the weekend,

Slaves could not vote. Now Georgia is returning to this ethos. And by doing so they are essentially enslaving half a million former voters. Most are persons of color, women, LGBTs and disabled persons. And they are all being enslaved by Donald Trump!

Georgia has a population of 10.3 million, according to Wikipedia. So, it has 6 or 7 million eligible voters. (Check: 4 million voted in the 2016 election. Figure 65% participation, and you get 6 million).

If 600 to 700,000 become ineligible every 4 years, and the rolls are swept, there’s a 10% turnover every 4 years.

Think about how many ineligible, absent, dead, or duplicate voters must pile up in states that don’t clean house on their voter rolls.

The leftists, most vocally Jill Stein but in reality all of them, deflect attention on elections by blaming the accuracy of the voting tally (that’s projecting the Stalinist way), but insist that any effort upstream to make sure that voters are eligible is “voter suppression.” Leftists want power by any means, and stuffing the ballot box with illegitimate voters seems more convenient these days than screwing with the tallying of the ballots.

That’s not to say they don’t mind screwing with the tally. Why does mega-rich George Soros invest in some of these vote tallying companies? Remember the hanging chads? The 100% turnouts in some Dem precincts?
