Ignoring a madman with nukes might not be such a great idea. That strategy might have been fine for Clinton, Bush and Obama since NK wasn't quite ready to set off their nukes back then, but that capability is being reached very soon.

I agree. The religious fanatics in Iran and the fanatical diabetic in NK need to be cut way down to size and have their dangerous toys removed. Give fat boy some candy and ice cream and keep him in a diabetic coma. As for Iran, there are millions there who would support a more moderate government if the fanatics can be killed and their weapons dismantled or destroyed.

True, but without the trading of stocks, which is actually the trading of fractional ownership in all large American companies, the economy, the bank loans, the bonds, etc, all collapses from the top down.
And the all important FAITH in the economy collapses.
Business at the retail level would work for about a week or two, then hyper inflation would set in, then chaos everywhere.
Why?
The stockholders STILL own their shares in the companies.
Wall Street is SHUT DOWN every evening and the world keeps on spinning.
The demand for the products of the companies is still there, and if Bill Gates can't sell his stock; my IPhone still receives and sends.
