Go take a trip to NK. Send us a postcard. Hope you don’t come back like Otto Warmbier.

my question - why is the deep state so hell bent on having another war, any war ? Yeah - just leave them alone and play nice and the'll never hit anyone with a nuke.....
A better question: why are so many on FR so loath to hit the links that keep the electrons flowing????

Why not just take his subs out? Who would know besides our sub crews who did the work. Their a closed society and I doubt they would broadcast to the world how ineffective their sub fleet was.

To keep us from noticing the Globalists selling us into slavery. To keep us from seeing that we are ruled by a single party that sees the sovereignty of the USA as a business challenge to be overcome.

An ejection test examines a missile's "cold-launch system," which uses high pressure steam to propel a missile out of the launch canister into the air before its engines ignite. That helps prevent flames and heat from the engine from damaging either the submarine, submersible barge or any nearby equipment used to launch the missile. Since these missiles are launched while the submarine is submerged then I would think the sea water would prevent the flame and heat from damaging the sub.

Pleaae do not live in the dream world of denial.
Norks have demonstrated ability to detonate a nuclear weapon on demand. Their percentage of success is greater than our early Castle shots.
Do not make the mistake of thinking that an enemy needs a massive nuc strike to cripple the US. One Nuc, smuggled into lower Manhattan or DC would stop the American economic system cold. And who did it? If they can smuggle 100s of tons of drugs into this country every year, and they can get everything they need for a bomb off the shelf with the exception of a few pounds of Pu or U235, who needs a rocket?
Remember what dropping two WTC buildings did? Without the stock market, our economy collapses. Without DC, like it or not, the interdependent lives we all lead simply stop. No transportation of food, no communications, no banking, no money exchange.
And all that takes is one rather small Nuc, and Kim has figured all that out.
Welcome to the 21st Century

I hope we dont use the same strategy with Iran.Bill Clinton worked hard and gave nukes to North Korea.
Hussein Obama worked hard and has made it possible for Iran to have NUKES. BOTH Democrat Presidents made sure than neither North Korea nor Iran would ever build nuclear weapons.
The Nuclear capability of both nations is only for peaceful use of nuclear technology. Please put away your conspiracy hat and stop spreading the nasty rumors of a deep state hidden agenda./sarc

But THIS? Having Kim write his suicide note by making a short term mess in a few places? THAT would get the US out of the way? Its absurd even to write it down.
It's absurb that the fat um even utters his threats against the rest of the world but he does. By doing this, maybe he thinks President Trump will give him Los Angeles class fast attacks and functional SSBN's so that he can protect his country against American aggression.
Bill Clinton would have negotiated with fat-um but Hussein Obama would have done it.

Um, no. The missile resides in a dry tube INSIDE the sub. That tube doubles as the pressure boundary hull after missile launch. It is rather a bad idea to ‘heat treat’ that tube.

I don’t know if there is a solution... and that is a very frightening reality.
The same danger exists from those who would use their oil revenues to buy a bomb from the friends of A. Q. Khan to destroy the Great Satan.
It’s like EMP; the more advanced a country is technologically, the more at risk it is.

my question - why is the deep state so hell bent on having another war, any war ? This one isn't one of the wars the deep state has ever pushed for as far as I know... this one is an actual threat that Trump and other good guys are trying to head off.
The Deep State probably wouldn't care if NK nuked some American city... they would use that in their campaign material "Look what Trump got us into!"

I believe Russian, Chinese, or Pakistani Scientists, maybe all of the above are helping North Korea and Iran develop the capability of delivering nuclear weapons at intercontinental distances. Right now Japan and South Korea are vulnerable to mid-range missles.
The United States in the Sixties could fire a small fission nuclear warhead from a 155mm howitzer. Now some fifty years later North Korea and Iran cannot duplicate what the US was able to do fifty years ago and mount the same type of warhead on a missle? Maybe even do much better.
It is just a mater of time before the United States can be attacked with nuclear weapons by four or five nations simultaneously. Not responding now to the threat paves the way for the unthinkable happening in the near future.
