A lot of people think the government is the answer for 7 of 10 "problems". When government tries to "solve" the 8th problem, that's "too often". The one that restricts a freedom they personally care about is "too often" but the 7 "solutions" that only harmed other people were legit uses of government power. Half the respondents can think of that 1-of-10 issue where the government has gone to far.

And it's not just Ds who think that. Just ask McCain, Graham and other "self-labeled conservatives" - government IS the best solution more than half the time. The place that Ds and RINOs may disagree on is which of the 8 solutions is "too often". They agree that 7 of 10 problems should be solved by government.
