NYC and Boston were home of the loyalists during the Revolutionary War. They fought against Washington and his army. Just like now, the loyslists did everything they could to help the king and resist the revolution. Their children and their children and their children..... were taught to hate our freedoms and values. Over the years since the revolution, they forgot about the king of England but have not forgotten their hatred for our constitution and values. That is why New York and Boston are currently liberal bastions of hate and loathing for American patriots.

MY OPINION: If someone invades your home, they lose all rights to everything, including life. I believe I have the right to kill him to protect my life, my family and my property. Self protection is faster than calling 9-11.

And for all the wrongs reasons.

Not quite what Jefferson and Co had in mind when they protected the 1st with the 2nd.

I believe I have the right to kill him to protect my life, my family and my property.

You do have that right, it is a natural right of nature as our forefathers were well aware.

The "state" cannot stop you from doing it. It can however use illegitimate force to prosecute you afterwards.

Canada is almost like having a Western Hemisphere North Korea on our 49th Parallel. When you read about these things, you realize that whatever Canada calls it’s “constitution” has no right to self-defense (among a lot of other things). The Western Provinces should join America ( everything from British Columbia to Manitoba, and the Yukon. That would make it easier to get to our 50th State, because the Canadians screw with Americans needing to transit Canada to get back and forth.

“Any country that prosecutes citizens for carrying out their rights is a fascist dictatorship run by a marxist who hates his own people.”

You described Canada to a tee.

Canada has become a real sad communist like Nation. Anyone wanting freedom, forget this place. Health care is so damn bad that they sneak across the border to use our health system.

In many places in the USA you would also be charged if “..several shots were fired as the suspects fled........” Usually deadly force can only be used if your life is in danger. Once a person is running away it is hard to argue that you are still in danger.

He disarmed an intruder, took his gun. And is charged with, wait for it...’unauthorized possession of a firearm.’

If you have a way to fast track Saskatchewan, Northern British Columbia and Alberta to joining the US, please let me know. The situation is reaching critical mass.

The moslems are growing bolder and bolder. Hell, we have a moslem immigration minister, and defense minister is a total retard.

Many of us have joined 3%, but even then options are limited.

Canadian law enforcement and politicians would rather see you dead than commit the unforgivable crime of self-defence. They want you totally dependent on the State for everything, even if it means you die waiting for help that won’t come because of government ineptitude. A small sacrifice to pay for living in an orderly society./s

Freedom has been dying in Canada for years, one day at a time. Try saying something not politically correct and find yourself facing charges.

It was a crime for him to take a gun from someone who was trying to shoot him with it. Once he had gotten the gun away from the perp, he "possessed" it and that was the crime. He had not lawfully acquired the gun because the police and prosecutor deny that self-defense is a defense to the crime of unlawful possession of a firearm.

Take a good look at this. Lefties will do that to us here if they can.

It seems to be the fondest wish of the police up north that the homeowner/victims die rather than protect themselves. Which begs the question, where in the hell were the cops when the home invasion was going down? And, had they been there, what would have been their actions? How are we not to conclude that canadian cops want people murdered; is it to give them job security?

Herein lies the Canadian problem: his shots ... “ ... were fired as the suspects fled “
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He was just handing the ammunition back to the owner...
You are indeed correct.
It seems industrial electricians are in high demand. I need to look into how that works for contractors. I’m self employed, but I need to do something. I can’t stay where I can’t even do my job which is protect my family.
They are just like the Brits! I guess all the British people with guts left and formed America. The some “leftovers” went to settle in Canada along with a bunch of French a$$holes thrown in for good measure. Just really glad we made the Louisiana Purchase from the French instead of letting them have another foothold in The New World. Can you imagine having something akin to Quebec in this country today?
