When you think about it they HAVE to name everything with rain and wind. Somewhere along the way FOREcasters became arrogant enough to think they're Nostradamus. They see the future, predict storms a year ahead of formation. When you go on the line with (-) number of predictions you HAVE to make sure you're right. So they name everything. Everyone knows rain with a name is more dangerous than your daily supercell thunderstorms. Oddly, they also keep tracking the remnants of anything named, clear up to England, while assuring us we're in 'no danger'. DUH! But, hurricane Isaac, which parked itself over us for 3 days, couldn't be tracked because it 'had no eye'!!

The NWS has become a joke, and the local buffoons celebrity media whores. Ever notice the manipulation of radar colors? Green-red, used to mean light to heavy rain. Meaningless now. The radar can have your city painted red and its not even raining outdoors. They play with radar color- but why??
