....and to usher the uninsured into the expanded Medicaid program in Illinois.

Translation............ that’s ok for you to stay home, sit on your duff all day long, .......we’ll get other people to pay your healthcare , so ....don’t bother looking or working a job.

Chicago needs guns and ammo kiosks on every corner and most of Chicago’s problems will be self limiting.

If the marketplace is the source of your healthcare/health insurance then you can always shop around. Barring any stupid regulatory roadblocks, you ought to be able to shop around across the country and you ought to be able to find someone who will offer you a reasonable product at a reasonable price.

OR

You can depend on the government for your healthcare/health insurance. In this case, there will always be stupid regulatory roadblocks of one sort or another, and if elections go in an unexpected direction, your ability to get access to anything reasonable may pretty much drug up overnight.

Why is this sooooooo hard to see or understand when it is so simple??? I’m starting think most people have a personal psychological “control” disorder and think “control” should be imposed with everything on everyone.

Might make sense to buy life insurance policies on these folks. With so many murders, I could see a positive ROI.

If they can't read or write, yes they need help. That said, there doesn't appear to be any major problem for signing up for welfare..

Bullschit...
The money was used to fund Radical Democrat activists, who funded Democrat campaigns, while keeping a percentage for themselves.

who funded Democrat campaigns

No! Their primary role was to BE the ground game in the Rust Belt cities and deliver a mathematically astounding vote total.

They did not do their real job and deserve to lose their source of income. Let this be a lesson to the next group of navigators. The most important time to produce is not for the poor people in your mission statement. The most important time to produce is for the people who guarantee your paycheck.

What a long trip from the food stamp outreach workers I used to advise for the Msgr Geno Baroni organization in Chicago. The Msgr was HUD, not Food Stamps. One hand washes the other.

You can cover all the people you want, but government can't produce doctors, nurses, pharmaceuticals, and the manufacturers who make medical equipment.

That's precisely what's going to happen when single-payer hits. No doctor is going to provide their services at or below cost or free.
