It's not taken the night of the murder. I don't think it's photoshopped, either. It looks like it was a picture from one of the social media accounts of the people in the photo, maybe even Seth's social media. The image can be found in several articles from the May time frame. It doesn't put Awan with him the night of the murder, but it does establish they knew each other. That is pretty significant in its own right in my opinion.
