The President should veto this if only to show his wisdom. Russia is not the enemy, and listening to the daughter will be his demise.

Then Trump doesn't need to sign it.

Trump could sit on it and it becomes law automatically.

But I think there is another option. Trump can sign it, with a signing statement stating that it is an unconstitutional interference in his ability to conduct foreign policy. Moreover, and this I believe, Congress, by pissing of the Russians has seriously limited Trump maneuvering space on North Korea.

And that, in my view is treason of the first order because North Korea is the most important issue on Trump's plate to deal with.

Trump needs also to go back to the house and senate and ask, in view of the Russia sanctions, each member's considered advice on what to do about NK, in the face of a hostile Russia. And then start publishing the names of those who won't answer the question, or the perspectives of the most foolish suggestions.

The uniparty created this mess. Trump didn't.

>Russia is not the enemy,

As long as congress is going to vote veto proof majorities that Russia is our enemy Russia’s certainly going to treat us as their enemy.

It's veto proof. He should sign it. Not signing would make him a mere "dictator".

Do I agree with the sanctions?? No...it's stupid.

"The President should veto this if only to show his wisdom. Russia is not the enemy, and listening to the daughter will be his demise."

He's trapped. He would be immediately overridden and gain nothing in trying to avoid further conflict with Russia. Maybe he could sign with a statement about i=unconstitutional infringement on the Executive Branch prerogatives, but the Uniparty has dealt him a bad hand.

"He might as well tweet that Hillary would be President if it weren't for the Russians. "

I've been wondering if the continuous Dim strategy of Russian collusion wasn't intended to hurt US-Russian relations.

If Trump gives them any break, the libs can just say he is paying them back for helping him become president and it becomes more believable.

I've been wondering if the continuous Dim strategy of Russian collusion wasn't intended to hurt US-Russian relations.

The bill was introduced by a Republican, Rep. Royce, Edward R. [R-CA-39] and received overwhelming support from the GOP.

If Trump gives them any break, the libs can just say he is paying them back for helping him become president and it becomes more believable.

They'll say the same thing by Trump punishing the Russians. "Drumpf is just trying to make it LOOK LIKE there's no collusion! Putin told him to sign the law to take the heat off!"

I think it's disgraceful that with this bill we are putting Russia in the same category as Iran and North Korea.

Let him be overridden on this. It's important to take a stand. The Russians are not our enemy and lumping them together with detestable Iran and North Korea is a disgrace and a humiliation to the Russian people.

He’s going to sign it, then break it. They have no authority over the executive office. They are too spineless to do anything about it and if they do, the Supreme court will over rule them.

Congress doesn’t want America to be great, they want it in ruins.
