Total opposite is true. Scientific discoveries of the last century (a moving universe with a starting point, the complexity of DNA) have actually supported creationism. This has given us ammo for new arguments in favor of God’s existence.
Meanwhile, atheists are actually clinging to the old, outdated arguments of Bertrand Russell and Friedrich Nietzche. Read any neo-Atheist book by Richard Dawkins or Christopher Hitchens and you’re reading the same regurgitated claims from 150 years ago repackaged.
If atheism and science were mutually inclusive, you’d think atheists would be coming up with new claims and arguments.
And as far as being analytical instead of emotional, get on Twitter and wade into the atheist cesspool and start making arguments for God, and see what happens.
