I don’t.
I doubt any of us do.
I don’t know either, but I would like to see far less of it, at least being done in public. There are numerous Cabinet positions yet to be filled, but who would want to work in such a hostile, backstabbing environment? Who voluntarily jumps into a Snake Pit? Oh, there will be some who do, but there are likely many who would refuse, seeing how the present team is being treated.
Scaramuch’ is still mortal, and can be brought down too, like a wounded gazelle surrounded by hyenas. His financial history is somewhat storied, somewhat murky. Certain parties may try to turn up the heat around the New Man. Make him want to leave the kitchen before it all gets too damn hot.
There has got to be a huge amount of resentment toward Scaramuch for being a newcomer who is already starting problems. Someone is going to try to turn the tables.
Draining the swamp is ugly business. Not for the faint of heart.
I’m becoming unimpressed with Scaramucci in less than one week. He might want to find the keys to the mens room before he intensifies and pubilcizes these in-house fights, calls his buddy Fredo Cuomo, etc. He ought to just pipe down.
Scaramucci was hired for exactly this type thing - root out all leakers who produce fodder for those who would destroy Trump and hinder his agenda.
