I still grit my teeth when I think of that useless slug in a bad rug Trent Lott telling a story about an imaginary billy goat he claimed to have owned. He said, roughly, no matter how good that fence was, it didn't stop Billy. The story was intended to illustrate why building a wall with Mexico wouldn't work.

Just like Al Gore's fantasy tale about handling tobacco, that story made scream at my TV set. ANY animal (or man) can be stopped with a good fence. And I'd almost bet my house that Trent Lott never owned a goat.

The question is, why was the goat trying so hard to escape? Fed up with the daily rape?
