My roommate in college ran a red light on his bicycle late one night, and ended up getting arrested for DUI and his bike impounded. I had to go get him out of jail the next day and take him to get his bike back. That cost $35, more than the bike was worth.

Eventually, the DUI was dropped, because he wasn't operating a motor vehicle, but he still had to pay the red light ticket.

Interesting question. I have not seen any articles, but I would not be surprised. Over the years Ive read of DUI's on tractors, lawn mowers, golf carts, ATV's and boats.
