The Justice Department issued a new warning to sanctuary cities Tuesday, saying they must prove they fully cooperate with immigration agents in order to claim federal law enforcement grant money.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said jurisdictions that don’t allow federal agents into their prisons and jails, and that refuse to give at least 48 hours’ notice before releasing illegal immigrants, will lose money.

I agree, but Sessions has been GREAT on illegals. I can't think of another person who will be a bulldog on the illegal immigration issued.

Yup. With Rudy you may get the other but less so on illegals. That said, I wish sessions would back off federal marijuana laws. Much bigger fish to fry.

Under the law, and the principle of federalism, that’s about all he can do.
Congress needs to tie more local funding to obeying the law.

Immigration is an issue nobody would even mention. Hell, they wouldn’t even say “illegal immigrant “. I’m sure you have Mr. Perfect all lined up for the job.
