There really is no more excuse for this kind of nonsense.
Make every claim filed for child support contingent on a DNA test. No match, no liability, no pay.
One would think anyone in the Texas legislature on up to the Governors office would see a story like this and say we need to correct this law. I don’t understand how a law like this could even be introduced for debate much less passed. In theory any man could have the finger pointed at him and be held liable. Its like saying DNA doesn’t even exist. If the idiots who voted yes on this bill could be sued it never would have passed. Not ever in a million years.
