Dear Auntie radu,
Mummy says to tell you you have freep-mail.
What’s dat?
Love,
Tigermauz
That’s great that your indoor temps are decent again! There’s nothing worse than heat for causing crabbiness in my estimation.
I hope you do get that rain...AND some cool lightning pics!
LOL! I’ll check it right out, Tigermauz.
Auntie radu has been outside watching lightning. LOL
Lightening?
Dat comes wif big BOOMS!
I don’t like dat!
Mummy sayz thank you!
Tigermauz
Great, indeed! We’ve gotten by ok for years but this past week was just too much with the combination of high temps and very high humidity. Once things got out of kilter in here, it spiraled downwards.
It’s sprinkling a little and dang it, I can’t get out away from trees to get any good lightning shots. Have to walk quite a ways and I don’t want to get caught in heavy rain. Still pretty cool watching the clouds light up but that’s not camera-worthy.
LOL! Most of our kittehs don’t pay attention to thunder but a few are hiding right now.
Lotsa big booms going on out there.
Tell your mummy I said, “You’re welcome.” :-)
Woohoo! Home for a few and off again!
Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...enjoy your home time and then your flying time.
I’ll bet it’s really dramatic! I like lightning, too, but from a great distance. LOL!
Oh...i’m gonna try....

Oh...i’m gonna try....
And WOOHOO! You were paying attention.
Now, THAT’S some cool lightning!
Yeah, that was really cool, especially standing out there under it. But it did run me inside since it originated overhead. A wee bit closer than I like. LOL!
We might not have gotten lightning worth getting pix of but we’re getting some good rainfall now. We need it. Plus this system cooled things off a lot tonight and we appreciate that muchly. :-)
Pretty calm...she’s been sleeping most all the day. Up a couple times, but no button. BUT...the bed pad WAS on.
And now up twice in 90 minutes. Mom...nothing in, nothing out.
Well, the cooling off part is awesome...as is the rain! Maybe it’ll stay a bit cooler now.
Our’s is supposed to get hotter as the week passes, and then I’m going to where it’s in the 80s during the day and the 40s at night. It sounds like heaven to me! LOL!
I hope you have used that beautiful lightning shot for your screen saver. it’s perfect!
How are the kittens adjusting to life in the fast lane? :)
Yay for a calm day, especially since it was Suzye’s day off. But we know how things go when she sleeps all day ..... she’s awake all night. :-(
You betcha the cooling off part is awesome. LOL! The past week was terrible, even at night. Hot and steamy.
It’ll be hot all this next week, too, though not quite as bad. Low 90s rather than high. I believe they said the humidity wouldn’t be as bad and that’ll help. Our hot spells are usually fairly dry but not this one. Ugh!
Those night time temps up there sound a bit brisk but the day tine highs sound pleasant enough. It’ll be a really nice change from what you’ve been dealing with lately.
I used that lightning shot as my desktop wallpaper for a while but right now I’m using that scap you sent a while back of the three eagle owlets when they got spooked by the hawk that stopped by the nest. That is just too funny and makes me laugh every time I turn the computer on. A great mood lifter.
The kittens still don’t like to come out to this part of the house but spend their time in Hubby’s man cave when they’re out of the bedroom. Pandy and Percy were rude to them and they’re afraid to be around them. They’ll get used to it eventually and get rude back when they’re older and larger. They’re small for their age but their momma’s a small cat too. It was expected they’d be small.
How's it going for everyone here this morning?
Oh....indeed! That was a funny scene to watch...as was the one where the one owlet stretched and scared the other two...and then did it again just to see their reaction. I’ve kept that video. It’s too funny not to watch occasionally!
i expect that Paddy and Percy just had as much of those scamps as they could take. LOL!
Hope it stayes cooler. I’m taking a sweater so the brisk won’t be too bad. I don’t think I’ll have room to pack a coat. Maybe some sox. And I’ll be sleeping in sweats. My son loves it cold and I have no blood. LOL! Or so hubby says.
Guess i’d better go for now. I checked on the birdies. I was sorry that one of the barn owlets died but I have a feeling Tori is going to be as big a handful as two of the others. See ya tomorrow!
It sure was funny to watch. I played it several times. Same with the one you mentioned about the one owlet spooking the others. I miss those silly owlets. They were fun to watch.
Pandy and Percy both hissed the moment one of the kittens walked up to them. They’re buttheads to everyone. It was a bit much for the girlies since they aren’t used to anyone acting mean towards them. Holli will come out here at times but spends most of her time in the back with her sisters and the few older cats who hang out back there. They’ll get braver as time goes on.
Sweats and socks will be a must up there at night, and the heaviest sweater you can pack. As long as you don’t plan to go outside late at night, a coat won’t be necessary.
Bet you’re getting antsier by the minute now that it’s almost time to head up there. :-)
I haven’t checked on Didi yet tonight but did see the announcement last night about the one owlet dying. It was weak from the start. With her laying clutches so close together over and over again, she’ll have more weak babies as time goes on. Her poor lil body needs a rest!
Good night and sleep well. Have a nice LAZY day tomorrow. LOL
