I hope you realize that that was the moral lesson of the show: that Red-Blooded Americans would rather work than have riches handed to them. Basic Protestant Work Ethic stuff with Puritan Sexual Ethics mixed in.
Hollywood used to be on our side.
I don't think the puritans dressed like Barbara Eden did on that show.
