Judicial Watch Warns 11 States to Clean Voter Registration Lists or Face Federal Lawsuit
Judicial Watch ^ | APRIL 11, 2017 | Robert Popper

Posted on 07/22/2017 3:22:13 PM PDT by george76

Data Show Counties in 11 States Have More Registered Voters than Eligible Adult Citizens.

...

The 11 states are: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina and Tennessee. The states have 90 days after receiving the letters to address the problem and provide Judicial Watch documentation showing that they have conducted a “statewide effort to conduct a program that reasonably ensures the lists of eligible voters are accurate.” Judicial Watch informed the states that should they fail to take action to correct violations of Section 8 of the NVRA, it would file suit.

Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act requires states to make a reasonable effort to remove the names of ineligible voters from official lists due to “the death of the registrant” or “a change in the residence of the registrant,” and requires states to ensure noncitizens are not registered to vote.

...

Judicial Watch asked the states to “conduct or implement a systematic, uniform, nondiscriminatory program to remove from the list of eligible voters the names of persons who have become ineligible to vote by reason of a change of residence, death or a disqualifying criminal conviction.” The states are also asked to remove from voter registration lists “noncitizens who have registered to vote unlawfully.”

“Dirty election rolls can mean dirty elections,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “These 11 states face possible Judicial Watch lawsuits unless they follow the law and take reasonable steps to clean up their voting rolls of dead, moved, and non-citizen voters.”

Can someone tell me specifically just what the Russians did to meddle and therefore influence the election?

When I ask a Lib that question they then look at me like a deer in the head lights

Or is it so secret and classified that if you told me you would then have to kill me?

Indiana completed the task in 2012. I believe at least one or two other states have also done the job.

Match voter rolls, driver licenses, welfare, USPS address list....

<>This is NOT rocket science.

<>According to Eloy Ortiz Oakley, there is no algebra associated with this task.

All states should be required to completely purge their rolls every 8 years. Those wanting to vote can re-register.

Florida also requires a photo ID, but only when you vote in person. Unfortunately once the Dems do a third party voter registration drive, where forms are collected and mass submitted fraud becomes rampant.

Since they know the newly registered voters are not incline to register or vote anyway, they can copy forms including signatures, change forms to a common mailing address, request absentee ballots for the group registered, and submit mass mailings absentee votes with forged signatures. If the voter shows up in person, they're told you already voted, and a provisional ballot is issued.

It used to be that you had to appear in person to request an absentee ballot and give a valid reason you could not vote in person.

With early voting, there should be no need for absentee ballots except for shut ins. These could be delivered in person, with the requirement that a valid government issued ID be presented, in order to receive the ballot.

There has been a effort to clean up voter registration rolls in Florida, especially North Florida (in coordination with the postal service). If a registered voter owns a home and receives mail at another address, along with their home address, the Supervisor of Elections requires the voter to show proof of residence for precinct assignment.

Unfortunately the large areas controlled by the Dems have fought the effort to clean up registration rolls at every step. Remember the Democrats filing a law suit to allow Supervisor of Elections in South Florida to accept absentee ballots where the signatures on the ballots did not match the signatures on the original registration form. Remember the Broward Supervisor of Elections group that was caught opening absentee ballots and filling blank ones out in a secure room.

Probably not good. We are on a low carb diet. :(

Pork rinds make a pretty good substitute, though.

Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act requires states to make a reasonable effort to remove the names of ineligible voters from official lists due to “the death of the registrant” or “a change in the residence of the registrant,” and requires states to ensure noncitizens are not registered to vote...a federal law? - and yet a privately funded organization has to take the states to court to get justice - the corruption runs deep in this swamp....

Texas sends out a new voter registration card every two years. It isn’t
to be forwarded but returned to the registrar for removal of the name
from the county voter role if not deliverable.

“Can someone tell me specifically just what the Russians did to meddle and therefore influence the election?”

there’s zero evidence that “Russians” “meddled” in our elections.

you can add that to your question to your lib acquaintances, namely,

“Could you please tell me exactly what the Russians did to meddle in our elections, exactly how did they change the outcome, and exactly what evidence exists for either issue”?

Broward is probably the worst. Miami Dade is second. Currently there’s a lawsuit concerning Broward. Haven’t heard much about it.
