Good grief, after i ogled over the storybook, got all worked up over traveling there, looked at the avg planetary...$1900 each ticket from Cincinnati...ugh! Family of 4.
I don’t know for sure, but here’s my theory about saving on going to Europe.
You pay dearly for going to out of the way places.
You’re better off finding a cheap ticket to anywhere in Europe and then you can take a discount airline anywhere once you get there.
Take Norwegian Air (maybe have to fly from Chicago) and fly to Copenhagen or one of their cheap destinations. Then, fly RyanAir or Easy Jet to eastern Europe. Some of their flights are $25. Once you get to Budapest or Warsaw, you can travel by train.
