U.S. Capitol Police seized one of her laptops months ago, hidden in a crevice in a House office building

SERIOUSLY?? Was she really attempting to hide evidence? In what "crevice" did they find her laptop? Did she think she would have been unable to spirit it out of the building?

I don’t believe that......it’s the Capitol Police... I don’t think they have it...they probably didn’t even look for it.

It was found iirc between the base of a statue and the wall in statuary hall. Placed in the position. Could not have accidentally fallen there.

Hiding a whole laptop in a crevice? Really? Reminds me of the Colonial era father and daughter traveling by horse and buggy, carrying considerable cash and the daughter wearing fine jewelry. Suddenly stopped by highwaymen, who robbed them and even took their conveyance and left them on foot. Trudging down the road, Papa was bemoaning the loss of the money, jewelry and everything, when the daughter, blushing, spoke up that the robbers only got the horse and buggy. That she'd hidden the money and jewelry in a "private body area". When Papa realized what daughter was telling him, he slapped his forehead and shouted, "If only we'd had your mother with us! We could have saved the horse and buggy!" (Or something like that). 😊
