Germany to pause all armament projects with Turkey

The Berlin administration is reportedly going to suspend military cooperation with the Turkish state on top of the sanctions announced by the German Foreign Minister.

According to an article in Bild, one of the best selling daily newspapers in Germany, the Merkel administration is suspending all armament projects with Turkey. The newspaper cites government sources for the article.

This will be the first time a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member country suspends military cooperation with another member. Several German arms manufacturers have factories in Turkey.

In the previous months, the German government had barred arms sales deals with Turkey, but the company Rheinmetall was planning to build a tank factory in partnership with Turkey. Rheinmetall and the Turkish Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) had signed a deal regarding the manufacture and modernization of ammunition.

Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel held a press statement yesterday and announced a series of sanctions on the Erdoğan regime after German human rights activist Peter Steudtner was arrested in Turkey.

Gabriel announced three points of sanctions, “cutting off EU funds”, “travel and investment warning for citizens” and “reconsidering credit guarantees”.

Incredible poor handling of foreign relations are coming home to roost.

Erdogan the Islamist suffers from Terminal Arrogance.

Turkey will pay the price, one way or the other.

Probably a good first move for Germany, ditching Turkey once and for all.

Turkey under Erdogan is NOT any kind of ally to anybody. Erdogan is out to re-create the Ottoman Caliphate.

When the Caliphate was overthrown, Turkey had assumed a secular government, and took the first wobbly steps to becoming a relatively decent nation.

Recently they have backslid quite a bit.

And so will Europe. Erdogan has threatened to shove even more “immigrants” into Europe if any European leader is mean to him. I have no doubt Erdogan will follow through on that threat.

And why shouldn’t he? After all, the Islamization of Europe is one of his goals.

So glad we gave Turkey the ability to assemble and maintain our newest fighter aircraft, the F-35. Not.

Get Turkey out of NATO before they drag us in to a war with Russia.
Erdogan is simply playing all sides.

I believe Russia will act with the US on Syria.

I see no indication that Russia wants a confrontation between Russia and the US.

This political charade about Russia and hacking is intended to foil cooperation between Russia and Trump administration. The globalist want to keep things stirred up and confrontational. They will do anything to accomplish their agenda, forcing US under global yoke.

So, is there a betting pool on the starting date for the next General European War?

I don’t think that is likely soon.

Now, within Turkey? There could be an open conflict.

Why is Turkey still a member of NATO?

More likely for Erdogan to wake up one morning in the midst of a real coup (not like the fake coup from last year). If you look along the southern coastal region...most all of the hotels and tour operators are in serious jeopardy, with a lot of folks unemployed. German and European tourism wiped out half of the tourism trade last year, and it’s barely hanging on this year. Lot of Turk resorts are offering 50-percent off on package deals...just to keep the resorts open and people working. You’d be shocked at the rates for two weeks...for a couple...flying out of Frankfurt to Turkey, for a five-star hotel along the Turkish southern coast, with full meals and all drinks included.

I wouldnt' go to Turkey even if the rates were negative (meaning they paid me to come).

Did you read about the 25 day march from Ankara to Istanbul called the “Justice” March. Under a sign saying “Adalet”, Turkish for Justice. (No party flag but lead by a Kemalist)?

At the end of the march was a demonstration that drew 2 million people. Drawn attention yet?

Erdogan has fewer friends as each day passes. And those he has are Islamist (many if not most Jihadi’s).

And Erdogan becomes more alarmed each day as ISIS(his fellow Islamists) is destroyed by the Syrian Kurds.

This is where we are.

The march did have a dramatic flair to it. But if they held an election tomorrow....I think Erdogan could still count on sixty-percent of the vote. So far, he hasn’t crossed the line. Jobs and economic stability are the game-changers.

Over the past decade, Turkey has thrown around 90-billion dollars at nation-wide infrastructure projects, with another 60-billion dollars worth of projects figured for the next five years (tunnels, viaducts, roads, and bridges). This investment is carrying the bulk of the nation onward....but they having to demand exceptionally good loans from the national banks to make the thing work. This is mostly what keeps the unemployment at roughly 10-percent.

Discounted because of the likelihood of it being a one-way flight and only a few days of hotel use...

I see Erdogan is screaming that Germany can’t threaten him.....and so it goes......his temper tantrums are becoming his standard response.

In my opinion, if this gets bad enough to threaten Turkey’s membership in NATO, you will see the Kemalist act. If they do, they will not attempt, they will succeed.
