My son got through 24 yrs of the SEAL screener at the Academy and dropped when he couldn’t keep up with the pushups and was dragging on his boatmates. He’s no flake. Chickie has no chance unless they move the goalposts.

That pretty much describes every specops guy I have known. The military teaches them... no beats discipline into them. If your kid is an XYY, only a few routes. Pro sports specops or Swat.
And when these women fail the standards will be lowered, and they will be allowed to try again. Disgusting.
There are very healthy, strong, well conditioned and athletic men who are simply driven into the ground and have to withdraw from SEAL training because they become physically incapacitated.
Doubtful many women will pass the course.
South Africa has a few elite units that accept all comers,including women, who qualify for training.
They have never had a woman pass the course because they do not lower standards and women just can’t make it.
Let me know when they have the first one that earned it.
Only about 50% of males make it through ranger school.
So far, the rate for women is maybe 10% and it took them three tries to graduate if I remember correctly.
